The Classic porn movie Eruption, starring the legendary John Holmes and Leslie Bovee was filmed on location in Hawaii. John spots Leslie on a busy beach. He goes over to her, but she initially brushes him off. When he's about to leave, Leslie calls him back. John sells insurance. Leslie wants a policy for her husband, but doesn't want him to know about it. The scheme is to kill her husband and split the million dollar insurance policy. John agrees to help, but only if they do it his way. They get the husband to sign the policy, thinking it's for auto insurance. John hides in the back of Leslie's car. Leslie drives as her and hubby go for a ride. John kills the husband from behind. John resembles her husband in build. He pretends to be her husband so people can see him go off on their boat, alone. Witnesses see John fall off the boat and the girl calls for help as the guy goes out to the boat to help himself. John has an oxygen tank and mask waiting for him on the bottom of the ocean. Afterwards, the witnesses tell the police what happened. John surfaces on the shore with Leslie waiting. They take his body out of the trunk of the car. A helicopter spots the body on the beach as if it had been washed ashore. The insurance company believes the husband was murdered, but offers a settlement. Leslie refuses, but the investigator stays on the case. Susan, Leslie's step daughter, is visibly upset as she asks John to meet her at the cemetery. Susan tells John that Leslie killed her real mother. It seems Leslie was her mother's nurse. Susan witnessed it, but didn't tell anyone because she thought no one would believe her. The insurance investigator at John's company knows the death wasn't an accident and tells John so. He tells John that he wants Leslie to sue them for the money. John meets with Leslie to tell her that it's over, but she wants to sue. He tells her that the investigator will ask a lot of questions and Susan's real mothers death will come up. John later finds out that Leslie has been spending time with Susan's boyfriend. He realizes Leslie is using him and goes to confront her. Leslie grabs a gun and the two struggle. Leslie is shot dead as Scott, Susan's boyfriend, comes to the door. John calls the police. Scott enters, finds Leslie and picks up the gun as the police arrive. Scott of course is arrested for the murder (though we don't see him arrested). Eruption ends with John boarding a plane. The stewardess asks if he wants a pillow, but he says "no thank you". She turns to the person seated next to John and asks "how about you ma'am?" We then see its Susan next to John. Susan says "no thank you, I have all Ill ever need" and she turns to kiss John. Hey, finally a porn movie whose plot really held my interest. Eruption is a very good and well written story. Plus, how can you beat filming in Hawaii? As for the sex. Well there really isn’t much of a cast, but it doesn’t matter because Leslie Bovee is one of them. Leslie rocks in her three sex scenes with John. I usually hate when the same two people have more than one sex scene together in the same movie, but not here with these two. Both are big time, porn legends. Leslie is a gorgeous brunette creature. She does a fine job on John’s huge dick. He splatters her face and mouth with cum in the last two of their scenes and she tastes some of his cum off her finger in the first. Susan Hart also does a fine job in her three scenes. She is a pretty blonde who also gives John some good looking head until he explodes on her face. There''s some brief split screen sex in three of the scenes and some great close-ups in scene five. This movie came out just before I started getting involved in porn and I missed it. I''m so glad I caught it twenty some years later.

“In Eruption you get to watch the giant John Holmes' penis rise to the occasion over and over again - these are captivating moments - getting this man hard is a slow, sensual process. The only drawback of Eruption is he only has sex with two different women (Leslie Bovee and Susan Hart.) But he is in four out of the six sex scenes and Leslie and Susan are both very eager, beautiful, natural women who are up to the task of putting the Holmes’ dick in their mouth. The other men in the movie are not attractive and not really worth mentioning - one of them is particularly ugly with a cheesy sunburn. The sex is still hot - but it's hard to live up to the Holmes' legend. I would have rather seen Holmes in every scene with a wider array of women. For an old movie the video quality is not bad. The scenery in Eruption is beautiful – I love watching people have sex on the beach with the waves rolling on to the shore. Eruption is 84 minutes long and truly a tribute to the legend of porn. It’s on my list of adult DVD collectibles.”
